Welcome
The two most life-altering days of my life were December 6, 2003, and March 9, 2004...the day I got married and the day I started my business as a wedding photographer.
While I had always had a flair for creativity, and photography had been a passion of mine since 2000, I truly fell in love with photojournalism after seeing how our wedding photographer captured every smile, every tear, and every special moment on that cold, snowy day on Cape Cod.
In starting Laine Anderson Photography, I sought to make it my ultimate goal to capture those same special moments for every couple with whom I worked, and to do so no matter what it took. In fact, I'm often found barefoot on a chair stretching to get shots of the bride's best friend catching the bouquet or the groom dancing with his mother. I often find bruises on my knees from kneeling down between guests to capture the cake cutting or trying to keep up with dancing flower girls.
I pride myself on paying attention to detail and strive to bring my enthusiasm for weddings into each event I shoot. My attention to detail doesn't end with the last dance, though. After the event, I spend as much time as it takes on each and every image to make sure it looks the best it possibly can. I enjoy using creative filters to make dramatic effects or hand-coloring techniques for a little something extra. I'll even take special requests from my clients if they prefer a specific image to be in black & white, color or sepia toned.
I definitely don't look at being a photographer as a 'job' but rather as something I was lucky enough to find and to be able to do for a living. Therefore, my clients aren't just getting another vendor, they are getting a wedding photographer who takes great pride in her work and just wants to make them happy.
